We recommend having a friend to help (and perhaps measure twice) as the more accurate your measurements, the better it will fit. See list below:
– Front Neck Drop: If you'd like changes from the original Measure from the mid point between your shoulder and neck joint, diagonally to the point where you want the front neckline to be.
– Back Neck drop: If you'd like changes from the original Measure straight down from the nape to how low you want your back neckline.
- Above Bust: Measure around the body above your bust. This should be the second largest bust measure.
– Bust: Measure the circumference around the fullest part of the bust. Make sure the tape measure doesn’t drop at the back. This should be the largest bust measure.
- Under Bust: Measure the circumference directly under the bust. This should be your smallest bust measure.
- Skirt Waist: Measure the circumference of your waist where you would wear the skirt. Don’t suck in your stomach, or you’ll get a false measurement
– Dart Point: From the top of one shoulder, meeting point between your shoulder and your neck, measure straight to the tip of the pointiest part of one bust (typically 9-11 inches)
– Hips: Measure around your hips around your hips at the widest part.
– Shoulder Width: Think of a line going from your armpit straight upward to your shoulder. Measure between these two points and hold the tape straight.
- Armhole: Measure around the armpit from over the top of the shoulder, down the front of the shoulder, under the armpit, and up the back of the shoulder. This should be 16-19 inches approx.
- Skirt Length: While standing straight, measure in a straight line from your skirt waist to the point where you’d like your skirt to finish. If you plan to wear heels, please take this measurements with your heels on.
– Blouse Length: From the mid-point between your neck and shoulder take a straight line measurement down over the curve of one bust to where you want the cape to end.
- Thigh Round: This is the circumference of your mid thigh section
- Knee Round: This is the circumference of your knee.
- Mid Calf Round: This is the circumference of your mid calf.
- Ankle Round: This is the circumference of your ankle.
- Bicep Round This is the circumference of your bicep.
- Elbow Round: This is the circumference of your elbow.
